Prince Edward Island

The Charlottetown Festival (June 18 – Sept 29) - A variety of theatre productions including Canada's longest running stage musical 'Anne of Green Gables', hold the spotlight at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.

College of Piping Celtic Festival (June 22 –late Aug) - This summer-long Island-style ceilidh is held in Summerside.

Festival of Lights (June 29 to July 1) - Charlottetown, the birthplace of Canada, throws a big party in honour of Canada Day.

Indian River Festival (July – Aug) - Everything from jazz to chamber music, gospel and Celtic ballads feature in this festival crowned by the Midsummer Magic Weekend.

Festival of the Fathers (August 29 - Sept 1) - Historic walking tours, 1864 vignettes and the Waterfront Ship Light up and Parade are among the enjoyable events commemorating the Charlottetown Conference.
