Newfoundland and Labrador

Corner Brook Winter Carnival (Feb 16 - 25) - This weeklong event is filled with more than 100 fun activities centred around Marble Mountain.

Labrador Winter Odyssey (early March) - Labrador West is showcased as one of Canada's newest snowmobile destinations with more than 450 kms of groomed trails.

Summer in the Bight Festival (June - Sept) - Celebrating the province's culture and heritage, this theatre festival offers 10 different plays performed indoors and our in beautiful historic setting of Trinity.

A Barbour's Tickle Scoff and Cuffer (July - August) - Held in communities across the province these dinner-theatre productions range from old-time concerts to sassy musical comedy.

Sound Symposium (July 5-13, 2008) - The highlight of this International new music and arts festival is the Harbour Symphony, a melody played daily on the horns of ships moored in St. John's harbour.

Royal St. John's Regatta (August 1) - Thousands come to Quidi Vidi Lake in downtown St. John's for the rowing races and other activities that make up this regatta, an annual event since the 1820's.
